Certifications

Electrical transformers are used in electrical circuits to alter the magnitude of voltage transmitted through any section of the energy grid. Electrical transformers reduce the voltage travelling through power lines to a value better suited for residential, commercial or industrial operations.

ISO/IEC 17025

ISO/IEC 17025 is its international standard for laboratory competence. This standard ensures that laboratories can demonstrate that they operate competently and generate valid results, promoting confidence in their work nationally and worldwide. It also helps facilitate cooperation between laboratories and other bodies by generating wider acceptance of results between countries. Test reports and certificates can be accepted from one country to another without the need for further testing, which, in turn, improves international trade.

UL

UL testing makes sure that wire sizes are correct or devices can handle the amount of current they claim to be able to. UL also ensures that products are constructed correctly for the highest safety. UL markers are most commonly seen on industrial equipment. These includes fuses, electrical panels, circuit breakers, smoke and CO2 alarms and thousands of other products.

ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001 certification reassures our customers that we have established a Quality Management System based on the seven quality management principles of ISO 9001. The seven quality management principles of ISO 9001 are customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision-making, and relationship management. We are actively looking to improve upon your company’s standards of performance.

CSAus

CSAus certification stands for Canadian Standards Association certification. It is an independent organization that evaluates products to the appropriate American National Standards. CSAus certification marks are widely accepted and recognized in North America, ensuring that the product has been tested and has met the certification requirements for electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical products. The CSAus mark also indicates that the product has complied with product standards, local installation codes, and the requirements of the US National Fire Protection Association.

ULcan

ULcan certification is a certification provided by Underwriters Laboratories Canada (ULcan). It is a nationally recognized product safety certification that is granted to products that meet ULcan’s safety standards. The certification is based on a product’s design and manufacturing processes, and is a guarantee that the product is safe to use in Canada. ULcan certification is accepted in all Canadian provinces and territories.

CSA

CSA certification for electrical transformers is a process involving a company’s compliance with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) safety and performance standards for transformers. CSA certified transformers are tested to ensure that they meet the applicable recognized safety standards and have the necessary approvals to be used in the Canadian market.
